NEST Modern Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Giveaways and a Month of Parties

NEST Modern, a mecca for urban dwellers and design aficionados, is celebrating its 10th anniversary. To celebrate their decade of growth the furniture store is kicking off a month-long celebration this Saturday, June 7, with Dig It, a lively garden party.

For this event NEST will be partnering with Hip Haven, a retro modern home and garden shop, who will be bringing bullet planters that guests can customize. Complimentary barbeque and a bluegrass band will round out the fun.

The following week on June 15th, NEST will partner with Yoga Yoga to offer classes in their showroom and a private shopping experience in the store. Finally on June 28th, they’ll host a grand finale party simply called “Ten” with bites from Max’s Wine Dive, cocktails from Deep Eddy, burlesque dancers, and more. Among the reasons to attend each party: there will also be giveaways each week. When asked why NEST is throwing such an ambitious anniversary party, Lara Weber, NEST’s marketing director said, “The owners of NEST firmly believe that they would not be celebrating ten great years without the Austin community, so they’re using this anniversary as their chance to give back to the city that has helped them thrive.”

NEST Modern features an array of classic pieces in a cheery showroom comprised of bright, clean, streamlined designs. Best of all, nearly every piece is completely customizable; buyers can choose from almost any color or fabric to create a one-of-a-kind treasure. Weber says that each piece is carefully selected for its quality and design. Simultaneously, the store works to remain a unique experience for buyers, as NEST is constantly searching for newer, fresher looks. Weber is adamant that NEST does not, however, focus on trends or fads. “We want to give buyers timeless furniture that they can enjoy for years to come,” she says.
