TRIO for Paws Returns for a Second Year

TRIO for Paws returns for its second year at the Four Seasons Hotel to benefit four of Austin’s most prominent animal welfare organizations: the Austin Humane Society, Austin Pets Alive!, Emancipet, and Greyhound Pets of America. The fundraiser runs until August 29 at TRIO where a special menu is being offered that benefits the four participating animal welfare organizations.

TRIO is hosting a Lawn Party and Silent Auction at the Four Seasons to kick off the fundraiser on June 19 at 5:30pm. Each ticket to The Lawn Party and Silent Auction at The Four Seasons includes access to several exciting elements including delectable hors d'oeuvres by TRIO and Greyhound cocktails by the Lobby Lounge. Kerri Sholly of Four Seasons says “the people who attend the event tend to be fellow animal lovers so it's nice to spend time chatting and getting to know them...especially when you've got cocktails, appetizers and the beautiful setting of the Four Seasons back lawn as a backdrop.”

Guests can also look forward to music provided by DJ/Sommelier Mark Sayre and getting their furry fix from the pets that will be in attendance from the various animal shelters that the event sponsors at kick off event. The Silent Auction will feature several incredible items that guests will be sure to covet including: VIP tickets to Beauty and the Beast at Texas Performing Arts, an intimate dinner inside the TRIO kitchen, and luxurious stays at Four Seasons resorts in Hawaii, Miami, Las Vegas, and the soon-to-open Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, to name a few.

If that’s not enough to make you want to attend, the event’s signature cocktail, The Greyhound, is sure to wet your whistle. The cocktail will include local Dripping Springs vodka, grapefruit juice and a candied grapefruit garnish. Guests receive one complimentary cocktail with their ticket. There will also be an assortment of passed hors d'oeuvres from TRIO. Best of all, all proceeds go to benefit Austin Humane Society, Austin Pets Alive!, Emancipet, and Greyhound Pets of America. Sholly says, “we started the fundraiser last year and the summer-long campaign raised approximately $30,000!” Do not feel discouraged if you cannot make it to The Lawn Party and Silent Auction, you can still help Austin’s furry friends by dining at TRIO through August 29, and simply ordering a special TRIO for Paws Dinner Menu in the restaurant.
